According to Lin Weifang, this battery boasts an impressive maximum charging rate of 5.5C, capable of charging from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes. This has truly achieved a “5-minute charge for a 2-hour high-speed drive” experience, greatly alleviating users’ concern about the EV range.

So, how was the “Golden Brick Gen 2” born in the power battery factory and achieved such outstanding charging performance?

Lin Weifang pointed out that this is mainly due to innovations in both hardware cell materials and battery management software. 

In terms of hardware cell materials, VREMT Energy has developed a “super-fast dissociation electrolyte” by adopting a revolutionary electrolyte solvent system and optimizing the anode and cathode materials, thereby enhancing electrical conductivity and reducing polarization phenomena. In software management, VREMT has implemented AI-based BMS technology, improving the accuracy of battery state monitoring and ensuring an efficient and safe charging process.

As a supplier, VREMT is acutely aware of the importance of safety for power batteries. Therefore, while pursuing ultimate charging speed, it also pays great attention to the safety of Golden Brick batteries. On this battery, VREMT has employed eight thermal safety protection technologies and conducted up to 220 system tests and 682 component tests to ensure the battery’s safety under various extreme conditions.
